Wedding and Event Transport in Cluj-Napoca

Transport is the part of an event that nobody thinks about until it goes wrong — usually at midnight, when thirty guests are standing outside a venue on the edge of the city with no way of getting back.

Getting wedding guests around Cluj

The common pattern in Cluj is that the venue is not in the city. Restaurants and event halls sit in Floresti, Apahida, Baciu or further out, while guests stay in central hotels. That means at least two transport moments to plan: getting everyone there, and getting everyone back.

The return is the harder one. It happens late, all at once, and often in a place with no passing traffic.

How we handle it

• Scheduled runs at agreed times, rather than everyone calling separately
• Pick-up from a single point — usually the hotel — and drop-off at the venue
• Return runs at two or three set times, so guests who leave early and guests who stay to the end are both covered
• Fixed prices agreed in advance, paid by the organiser or by each guest, whichever you prefer
• Invoicing for the organiser if needed

Cars or a minibus

Up to four guests per car. Beyond about eight, the 17-seat minibus is both simpler and cheaper: one vehicle, one driver, one arrival, and nobody left behind because their car did not turn up.

For a wedding with guests coming from out of town, a common arrangement is airport pick-ups during the day and minibus runs in the evening.

Guests arriving by air

If relatives are flying in, we can collect them from the airport and take them straight to their hotel or to the venue. Send the flight numbers when booking — we track the landing times and waiting for delays is included. Useful when several people arrive on different flights across the same day.

Corporate and business events

The same logic applies to conferences, team-building days and client events:

• Airport transfers for participants arriving on different flights
• Shuttles between the hotel and the venue
• Transport to an out-of-town location — a winery, a mountain guesthouse, a castle
• Company invoicing, with an agreed rate for a full day
