About this route
Cluj-Napoca – Chinteni Transfer
We provide private taxi transfer services on the Cluj-Napoca – Chinteni route. The total distance is about 15 km, and the estimated travel time is 15 – 25 min in normal traffic conditions.
North of the city
Chinteni is the commune immediately north of Cluj, over the hills from Grigorescu, around 12 km from the centre — 15 to 25 minutes of driving. Its proximity to the city has turned it into a sought-after residential area, with many new houses built in recent years.
The public transport problem
There is a link to the city, but with infrequent services, especially in the evening and at weekends. For anyone coming home late from work or going out in town, a ride booked for a set time solves the problem without depending on a timetable.
Villages and addresses
The commune takes in several villages spread across the hills — Deusu, Vechea, Sanmartin, Feiurdeni. The distances between them are not great, but the roads climb and drop and the journey time varies. When booking, give us the village and a landmark so we can price it correctly.
